And he'd get a yellow card. And if it was his second yellow, it would be a red card with all the implications! :director:

like your man Schu?

Ah, bud, you're so predictable  You had to pull the MS card, didn't you? How very mature and smart of you - you run out of arguments, so you pull one of those extra aces you got up your sleeves, eh? Guess what? It doesn't work with me - I know you too well and long enough. Stick to the topic please and don't try to detract and turn this thread into something it shouldn't be about.

yeah and you ignore my posts significance yet you still didnt answer it so i must be right eh :hehe: like i said no way you were so demanding of punishment in his cases. so youre showing your bias! you hate McLaren and i bet you giggle yourself to sleep with this trash.

Ya DD the two of em is like that - think they the opposite AKR twins. Anyway .. I think the most fitting punishment would be to allow mclaren to compete in the next two or three races but not allowed to score any points. The reason for that is self explanatory cos i really cant manage long posts.

Tony, take a F.R.O tablet, that is the biggest pile of :bs: written this week, cancel month. Why allow a team to enter, but deny them any championship points, pure rubbish

Didn't they know going into the race at Hungary ('07) that they wouldn't get any championship points? Nevertheless, i can't really see that happening in this situation.

Right but he's never lied before.

2, a red card would be a 1-2 match Ban not a court job.

the FIA love there drama tho..

Last time I checked you can get a yellow card for VARIOUS reasons, not just lying

You miss my point i'm saying hes been punished and so has the team and the punishment was fair this is being Blown way out of perportion.

Its like Ronando diving and having to go the the FA disciplinary commission and them looking at giving him a year ban

thats how daft this is.

No, it's not actually. It's like if a team were caught cheating by gaining an advantage over another team, and punished for it -which included a probationary period. Then, within that period, a player on their team accused, on collusion with the team, another player of fouling him and for some reason nobody saw them. The Referee took his word for it and punished the other guy, but then they later find evidence disproving it and ask the first player again what happened. He (And his team) sticks to the lie and then again maintains it after being presented with evidence.

No matter the category, when ever two drivers are summoned by the stewards over an ontrack incident there is inevitably two versions of what happened no doubt in order to get the better outcome for ones self! The stewards have to decide who is lying and who is telling the truth! It's rather simple pity for Lewis in this electronic age he was caught! But youre all kidding yourself if you think this is new! Intact couple weeks ago at my kart meet, I was speaking to the officials and they had many blatant lies said to them that day! Lucky there's no tv interviews for those drivers huh ";)"

I think the difference between Lewis' lying and previous incidents of a similar nature (I hate to bring it up, but Schumacher at Monaco shall be my example here) is that they could actually prove that he was lying because they had access to a radio transmission and a press interview that contradicted what they said in the stewards' office. With Schumacher at Monaco, they couldn't definitively prove that he was lying, just that all the evidence they had leant towards the conclusion that he was lying. Whilst there is only a small margin between the two, they are still different situations.

Yeah I'm stoked longbow! Lewis wrote sorry we couldn't meet you In AUS heikki wrote thanks for your support!

Back to parkgate when you think about it by punishing Schu the stewards took what he was saying as lies!

That's what I said, but they couldn't definitively prove it as they could with 'liegate'. I think that's the crucial difference that a lot of people are missing, although it was blatantly obvious that Schumacher had, indeed, lied. But proof is what you need, really.

Maybe McLaren should ask Michael for some lessons...
