Well tomorrow is nearly upon us and a big day for McLaren. I am hoping that there is no further sanction on Lewis be it either loss of points or a race ban.

Suspended race ban would be fair, anything more extreme arguably wouldn't be. If they don't get punished they'll get fined, it seems to be standard practice for any rule infringement now.

I expect a suspended race ban and deduction in constructors point which would also mean a loss of commercial rights revenue.

This would be the only acceptable solution, as far as I'm concerned. If they ban McLaren or Hamilton, it'd be too far. I'd rather see a suspended ban than a fine, to be honest, because a financial penalty could hurt the team a lot more.

F1 survived when Honda was banned, it survived when its championship leader had to miss 2 races in 1994, im sure it would.
Not that I want that though. Hopefully its a suspended sentence, or a fine.

I never implied that it would have a detrimental effect on the sport, just that it would be an excessive punishment.
