No, apple aren't entering in F1  They'd make the car to light and flimsy anyway

No, Isport are a team headed by Paul Jackson, looking to jump from GP2 to F1 in 2010

For those who don't know, Isport is the team that Glock powered to the title in 2007 and came 2nd with Bruno Senna in 2008. It's an interesting thought. Isport are an extremely well put together team right now and even though apparently they don't have that great a budget they're arguably the best team in GP2.

I actually don't recall the last time a team jumped from one of the lower series into F1. Probably quite a long team ago since lately most brand new teams are heavily funded outfits like Toyota.

I believe your right. I forget Stewart were in F3000 all together.

I'm also surprised ART haven't expressed an interest in F1. In the F3 euroseries one of their drivers has won the championship every year in their 6 year history. 3 of those years their drivers came 1st and 2nd overall. In GP2 they were with Nico and Lewis who both won the championship. They've had an extremely successful career. Plus their french. F1 is losing out a lot in france, no french GP and no french teams. One french driver who does nothing but moan. There's a good opportunity there.

Well, there were no teams that talked about joining for 2009, nor 2007 I think. We only really had Prodrive looking to join in 2008, but that ultimately didn't go ahead.

Thing is, it looks to be a full grid next year hopefully. Only question is, if they all have to fight to be on the grid who'll be there.

Why is everyone suddenly interested in making a comeback or joining F1 as a new team in 2010? O_o

It's cheaper now.

any team is going to be worth quiet alot now if sold once the gird slots become full

As i mentioned in a previous thread Jordan went from 60mil to 106mil because 1 more team came into F1

so expect one of these to become Torro Rosso rather than be a new entity perhaps?

Doubt it. Toro Rosso isn't as valuable an asset as it seems to be.

It will become so when the gird slots are filled.

Well, they're somewhat centrally placed and they have a lot of facilities in place. I think a new entry would be better off snapping up Scuderia Toro Rosso and their Faenza facilities than they would be starting from scratch.
