I just want him to be where he'll do best.
Dunno bout Ferrari atm??

Ferrari could be back to winning ways by next season. Who knows?

However much I like Ferrari, it is quite amusing to see them right at the bottom of the Constructors Table!

If Sutil had brought his Force India home in 6th place in China Ferrari would be the only team with no points.

Dont quite get the Alonso luv-in, but thats just me. Yes he may relish a confrontation with the new young guns, just so long as they're not in his team.Kindov spoilt it for me Alonso has, which is a shame cos the old blue Alonso gear looked cool!

It's unsurprising that some may not see Alonso's virtues. The 'luv-in' (sic) is due to him being the best all round and most complete driver on the grid. I'm not a big fan of Alonso's modus operandi, but to deny his skill is delusional.

The mild seven Renault was one of the best looking cars, specially in 2004, 2005. The ING colours are not as good, this years colours are particularly funky.

Agree. The new ING color scheme is not that good looking... or rather, the Mild Seven was stunning.

It would be very interesting to see Vettel and Alonso paired up at Ferrari. Hopefully long gone are the days when having a lead driver and a follower guaranteee for much success... specially if F1 goes the way of 'neutralization' (evening up the field). But again, no one really knows for sure which will be the dominant teams, Honda were already courting Fernando and they are basically the same guys...

Anyway, the key figures for silly season should be Kubica, Vettel and Alonso. So depending of which teams have the best offer and package, it will be pretty interesting to see who ends up where and with whom...

Why do you keep inferring i'm delusional? I dont deny Alonso's skill but dont think he's the best driver either, its a matter of opinion.

hehe. I would argue that Kimi is the fastest guy out there given a set of circumstances that suit him. i think he has the greatest ultimate pace of any drive since Senna perhaps and I know there are a number of McLaren employees who feel he was faster than Senna during his time there.

BUT it is clear to me as a rampant Kimi fanboy that Alonso is the best all round F1 driver in the field at the moment by a distance. i can't even begin the level of delusion that is required to come to any other conclusion. I don't want this to be the case but it simply is

I agree, although Raikkonen shades everyone on raw speed, he isn't rounded enough to be considered the best in the field. Alonso isn't far behind on one lap pace, and well he is the more developed driver.

I think the best driver over a single lap would be Jarno, i dont know where he finds the lap times from in Qualifying that he cant reproduce during a race. I use to hold Kimi in high regard but last year i just couldn't believe how bad things went for him. I'm an Alonso fan so obviously so obviously he gets my vote as best overall driver in the field at the min but Vettel sure as hell could give Alonso a run for his money.

Yar Vettel has impressed me more than any newun since Kimi. i don't think Kimi's extreme pace lies in a single lap in the Senna sense but over a race stint. He seems to be able to sustain incredible pace over a whole stint or race as seen in Spa last year of in Japan 2005. I have always felt that was a more difficult skill than single lap pace. He seems to have more off days than good days recently tho, although I thought he did well this weekend, not an easy race for him

Ya Kimi drove well this weekend. And Japan 2005? Well only Kimi would pull such an overtaking move on the last lap. I kept thinking to myself. Poor Fisi
