Obviously McLarens penalty will be decided this Wednesday so I would like people's views on that but also I believe decisions are to be made for 2010 on things like points system, technical regulations and budget caps these are what I really want peoples views on.

Well as much as the meeting is on Wednesday, I think the result of the hearing may not be given until the Thursday. As for the FIA's proposals I expect fireworks

"It would take a person of supreme arrogance to say that Medals are a good idea when all his esteemed colleagues say otherwise."

Only this time that remark is justified :D

What exactly can the FIA do but push on with their proposals. I bet they include the WINS system too!

I'm really concerned that they rules will lead to either a 2 class F1 or the big teams having to get rid of 75% of their staff.

What really worries me is the level of standardisation in F1. I realise these are hard economic times and that all possible methods should be taken to cut costs.
I can stand the idea of a standard cosworth engine, but KERS? No way - Formula One is loosing all of its original DNA. Where will our technical innovations come from?
These are small but sure steps to a single make formula.

"Oh the teams who accept the budgets will get freedom" - Freedom but at what cost? That is all i'm saying.

i hope they don't ban KERS or worse make it a standered system.

LOL they will probably standardise it and give the contract to Ferrari!

McLaren already expressed its interest to provide a standardized KERS...
