That is why BGP is where they are now because they gave up on an uncompetative chassis long before any once else did.

for sure. It being such a good decision for them tho makes me worry that teams may give up the chase so easily early on and focus on next year leaving the latter half of the season with half hearted efforts making sub standard racing

I'm pretty sure there will be enough teams left to continue the race to the championship full throttle - it just might be DIFFERENT teams than we're used to from the past. Such as Toyota, RBR, Williams, STR, and even Force India (maybe as a testbed for McLaren? ).

It is nice seeing different teams challenging for the title, far more exciting in my opinion and also great for the teams for seeing such good results in their cars
