So what's going on with them?? First you have prima dona Kubica calling out the team publicly only after two races, the first with him crashing out, the second with him blowing an engine, and the third with him not making out of Q3. Then you have Heidfeld, with a little luck helping him but he's been consistent with the car, but he could have done better in China. This is a pattern with these two drivers, Heidfeld does well and consistent, Kubica complaints and whines. Renault and McLaren brought their rear diffusers to China, BMWSauber is still busy fighting it in court, now we head to Bahrain and BMWSauber is slipping further. BMWSauber made great progress with their new car compared to last year, the problem is other teams made better progress then them and they are too slow to react. McLaren had a tought week with the FIA, spy-gate, RD but they looked so focused on Sunday, BMWSauber had a slow week and they looked so lost on Sunday. Time for Kubica to get Heidfeld out of his head, the only way to do it is to shut up and race, time for Heidfeld to step up to the next level, and time for Dr. Mario to admit that they are not as good and need some urgency to fix this team.

BMW are a bit of a mess this year, compared to other years. Kubica in good conditions looks okay enough, Heidfeld has yet to make Q3. Their only score so far was Heidfeld's lucky podium at Sepang.

It's a strange one. I'm sure everyone expected BMW to come out fighting this year, but they haven't. Their pace has been similar to that of Ferrari and considering that BMW dropped 07 early to work on this years car it's surprising to say the least. The fact they've had so much time to work on the car and have so little to show is worrying. They don't seem to have many updates like a rear diffuser on the way. They have a lighter chasis is Kubica can benefit from KERS, but how much good will that do. KERS isn't exactly helpful.

It's early days, and this year any team can turn things around. But can BMW is another question.

they should of kept fighting last year they could of had a decent shot at the WDC with Kubica.

Shame on BMW, after lastyear story about new car development I don't see much good of them.

NH is exactly like last year - consistent slow - using his experience and luck whenever possible, very smooth driver but that won't be enough, I don't see any future for this guy.
RK - strong in first race but stupid mistake, second race engine problem, last one nothing special from quali trough race.

I have a feeling that RK got wrong attitude that as long as he is better then NH he is OK, that may cause a big problem.

On KERS side, they obviously have a a big expectation about therefore Nick is using it, and they trying to find solution for Kubica as well. Should work much harder on diffusor IMO, enough to see McLaren performance in last race.

Season is still long way to go but they have push forward otherwise another lost year, or maybe they focusing on next year car again

BMW can finish last for all I care, they are the main reason we have KERS this season so I am not friends with them.

I rate Kubica, he's very fast at least, which Heidfeld never has been. Nick is a great racer but he's never been that fast. If Nick was gonna do anything special in F1, he would have by now

Put it this way, he was as quick as the Ferrari's who were in turn the closest to the diffuser lot, so they were doing okay; and some circuits get a lot of safety cars, so teams play the percentages to benefit from them, which is fair enough.

The trouble is that the midfield is so damn tight that any small issue can cause a team to drop back easily.
