From France 99 till around Hungary ITV were blocked from Showing Qualifying live over an argument over the rights issues.
If you remember France was not shown at all, and for the likes of Austria we got delayed coverage of Qually.

That's mental, what di Bernie think they'd paid all that money for, just the races?

I think he had his own digital tv company or somthing stupid like that?

Well Digital TV service wasn't launched in Britain in 99, it only had a one year trial in 2003.

No time for me to research but does anyone know how many F1 titles Braun has won, Including Driver's Championships and Constructor's Championships?

I guess 14, 2 WDC and 1 WCC with Benetton, 11 with Ferrari - 5 WDC and 6 WCC...

So Basically Scumacher never won a championship without Braun did he ?
I never looked at it quite that way, He's a bigger genius than I first thought and I've always thought he was a genius.

I couldn't resist putting the title the way I did :P
Anyway, a nice tribute to Ross.

You cheeky sod. :nono::hehe:

Brawn is a Formula One legend in my eyes. It's great to see him back in Formula One - and with cars baring his name winning Grands Prix.

Yes very nice imo also.

I don't mean freeview. Bernie's Digital channel has ran in Germany for years now, but what i'm saying is that it didn't in Britain until 2003. So it had nothing to do with ITV's issue in 1999.
