Yeah, Hamiliton spun 4 or 5 times then. Ermm, remind anyone of anything.
Massa spun 5 times during Silverstone and everyone has not stopped bringing it up and whinning on about it. Even Legard was mentioning it today before the race was underway. So now ye can all shaddup. :D

Yeh but Massa really spun i mean like 360's and everything

Hamilton just got it abit sideways and saved it.

I remember him facing the wrong way on at least two occasions, which is exactly how Kovalainen got past him

I never saw that, he ruined his tires tho perhaps because the suspension was too stiff (he was on one wheel somtimes)

probelry shouldn't of tanked him and let him 2 stop we would of see a podium i think then.

I agree.

Funnily enough, it was mostly the same people bashing Massa back then as are whining about this thread right now.

difference was Massa didnt score any points

Whilst this is true, what you have to remember is that Hamilton is widely regarded as the best in the rain and Massa considered one of the worst. So that pretty much negates it.

I would say Vettel a future Ferrari driver is better than Hamilton in the wet. He walked all over Hamilton today in China and inlast years Monza GP. And I didnt even recall seeing Vettel Spin once today. Oh and wasn't it Vettel that passed Hamilton at the end of the Brazilian GP when it rained. Remember ha? :D Oh just unforntuante that Glock yieled to Hamilton, otherwise Vettel would of been hailed a hero by Ferrari as of last year.

"Disgrace" is a bit harsh. Piquet is a disgrace - Hamilton is just ragged, a touch reckless and a touch unwise.

Today rather flies in the face of all that "Hamilton is the new Rainmaster" :bs: though. It's painfully clear it was the car that was good in the wet.

Vettle was out front prob abit easier without spray and i'm sorry Monaco, Silverstone and Monaza (15 to 7th) Hamilton is as good as Vettle if not better in the wet.

But Vettle was excellent today but i don't think he'll go to Ferrai i think he'll stay with RBR or got to BMW

I doubt it. Half of the reason he managed to jump ahead of some of the guys in front was because he could stay out longer whilst they pitted during or just after safety car periods.

I think that's a fair assesment, though Nakajima wasn't too far behind Piquet (at least he didn't destroy the nose twice - awfully weak-looking thing, that Renault nosecone).

yeah it's the fourth race in the row where he has underperformed in the wet. Monza 08 he was crap, Brazil 08 got overtaken by SV in the rain, 09 Malaysia he wasn't massively quick, today he was way to aggressive destroyed his tyres so was only fast for about 5 laps.

I thought that, it came apart like nothing with the vinyl trailing along. I mean, is the damn thing made of balsa wood?

You're right, I hadn't thought about thos, but that's very true. I should also add, McLaren's strategies in those races where he was labeled the "rainmaster" were also very good.

We've seen a mixture of performances from Hamilton in the wet. On the one hand, you've got Fuji and Shanghai (ignoring the poor strategy call) 2007 and Silverstone 2008. On the other hand, you've got Nurburgring 2007, Monaco, Monza, Spa and Brazil 2008, and China 2009 where he was not as impressive and made a few critical mistakes or was generally slower than you'd have expected from those other performances.

Yeah though I would disagree with Spa 08 because he was on dry tyres on a track that was just starting to get wet.

When I included Spa, I was referring more to his spin in the opening laps that put him behind Raikkonen.

Slightly off-topic, but that was a crushing moment for Raikkonen. He was supreme during that race and pushed just too hard in the end, which is a shame because he'd have deserved the victory.

Yeah that first corner spin in the dry was such a screw up by LH all the top drivers were not very consistent last year!

Given that none of you have twigged on yet, I may as well tell you. I was not seriously suggesting Hamilton should be given the boot. I was merely emphasising the point that Hamilton didn't cover himself in glory today, but McLaren are not looking for ways to find Hamilton in breach of contract and offload him.

What the hell sort of driving was that from Hamilton today? He was a complete shambles. I thought McLaren had employed a racing driver, not a clown. He should be dismissed from the team with immediate effect.

You sound like a pathetic little hate monger and just from this post you obviously are grasping at straws.Lewis has been winning races since early boyhood and came second in his first year in F1 under McLaren and is the current F1 world champ under McLaren.Your post holds no credibility at all and to top it all you are just embarrassing yourself by even making a dumb thread like this.Heki and Lewis done well today and better that many of the so called top drivers who came in after them.

Kimi ,Alonso,Masa all came after Lewis, guess that makes them a disgrace?

You are just pathetic and exposing yourself for nothing but a Lewis hater who probably think he should be dunking hoops instead of racing for McLaren.

Why aren't you racing for McLaren, ill tell you why ,it';s because you have no talent and you are a pathetic man/women.

Get a life and stop embarrassing yourself.
