Mika was extremely good with Mclaren

Hakkinen is second only to Senna for me. He was certainly McLaren's best team player since the days of Hulme.

That he absolutely adores McLaren and wants to drive for no other team is one them.

To be fair i think that was pretty true after winning the WDC

He's said it plenty of other times. Like just after he tried to broker a deal for a race seat with Williams.

Mclaren Played him there mate.

You must make that same statemen every other day on here, is that where your problem stems from? He didnt broker a deal. He called Ron's bluff to get in the race seat sooner rather than later. And putting him in was more than justified by his performances.

Mika and Mclaren just clicked, I can't compare to Senna as I never witnessed their relationship, but yes the old days were so much better

Things always look better in the past.

There are plenty of other examples of Hamilton's disloyalty. The guy is out for himself. Just accept it.

You're not clued in. I said only moments ago I've no problems with drivers that aren't necessarily loyal to a team. Where I start having issues is when you get guys like Hamilton lying by spuriously claiming they are loyal to a team.

The only current driver who comes across as being close to 'loyal' is Felipe Massa...

(I was gonna say JB for sticking with Honda but then my brain clicked :hehe: )

Like i said most drivers are but i think he has some loyalty for the team or he would of been gone.

The only reasons he's not gone are because no other team can/will take him and because McLaren are one of the sport's best teams.

Yes, Id agree with Massa, but wonder if it would be so in different circumstances. Who knows eh!
