In my mind the weight i=of the unit adds about a extra 32 kilos over our 605kilos. that means hammie has enough fuel in his car for about 17 laps. makes sense??

No the car weighs 605 kg they put 32 kg less ballast in the car!

Ok that makes even less sense. they dont have that much ballast weight to play around with. Think we need to get some clarity on that. I read somewhere that the kers systems weight pushes the minimum weight requirement out of the window. ....I am far too lazy to research this issue .... can anybody help me right here??... the kers cars are heavier without fuel with driver than the non kers cars ??.. or do I have it wrong ??

I believe you have it wrong the cars imo are no heavier they just have less ballast to play around with to get the car set-up properly they also have more weight higher up which causes problems and the fuel tanks are smaller.

The Cars all weigh the same.

the ballast can be moved tho unlike the kers.

Moving the ballast to say the front of the car helps to keep the front of the car down.

Yeh prety glad that lewis is quiet heavy but i wish they had gone light and then done an oz when he did a few laps on on the super softs then pitted.

he could of got p2 ahead of alonso i think.

And P2 with Kers he could really jump them.

Mind you i expect him to jump a few people from 9th.

I think LH might just make a podium.

Can someone remind me how many sets of soft and hard tyres each driver can use during the weekend? Is it 3 or 4?

Longbow - heard Alonso hasn't got KERS this weekend, i think...

Didn't think the RB's would be that light either, so hmm, i'm gonna predict the Brawns and Trulli for the podium (on outright pace that is, barring accidents etc).

Nice job by Buemi too!!
