Well that is even more disappointing now, Rosberg with less fuel could still only manage 7th! How could this have happened? It seems everybody else is catching them up now they're putting upgrades onto their cars. I just hope Sam Michael is right that the car runs better in race condition because qualifying is turning out to be a major achilles heel of the FW31.

HK has got 35-36 laps worth of fuel that is quite a bit! [EDIT] Alonso has just 11 or 12 laps worth

All the cars weight the same without fuel around 605 kg then it's around 2.5kg a lap for fuel

Thanx frosty .. I am aware of that .. but a lil confused now. 605 kg we know. one question ... was the weight og the cars kept at minimum weight including the kers system?? . coz that dont compute in my mind. look at hamilton.c car... if what you say is correct he's has almost 80kilos of feul in the car but we all know he will be pitting around 16 or 17th lap tomorrow. am I missing something somewhere??

In my mind the weight i=of the unit adds about a extra 32 kilos over our 605kilos. that means hammie has enough fuel in his car for about 17 laps. makes sense??
