I've supported Massa since I started watching F1. Okay that was only a few years ago, I first watched the last round of 2006 and then followed 2007 and have been addicted since then.

Really, when I really started following F1, Massa had taken 3 pole posistions in a row. So he quickly became a personal favourite of mine. Really, I support the guy cause he's the underdog who actually turned it all around and nearly won in 08. A lot of people doubted Massa, but I personally held a strong belief he'd do it in 2008 simply because he was under-rated in 2007.

I'm also in the habbit of rooting for Vettel. The guy was un-believable last year, winning in monza was monumental. He beat everyone on a day when really they had no excuses. None of the top drivers had probelms, they're cars where fine. Vettel just pure out-paced them. He then went on cause more mayham overtaking Lewis during the Brazil GP. Gawd I love him for doing that, shame the rain came down heavier and Lewis was able to get past Glock.

Also, I don't support constructors. I prefer driver talent over mechnical engineering. But I do like Williams very much. That being the only exception. I'll just support drivers and whatever team they move to. I also happen to be a fan of both Williams drivers. Nico is almost a forgotten champ. But it's clear this year, with a decent car under him Nico has still got it and hopefully will take a win down the line. Nakajima, okay not a great driver, but I'd personally like to see the guy do well. He's just all round nice guy, but compared to Hulkenburg who is all lined up to take a seat a Williams it's hard to say if Naka will be round for long.

I like supporting Heikki as well. Underdog again, and I'd seriously like to see him give Lewis a run for his money. Truili would be there as well I suspose.

I am some what of a new F1 fan. I used to follow Juan Pablo Montoya back in the day. I haven't really found a team yet to really become a fan of. How did most of you become fans of the teams you now follow?? Did you follow because of the driver or the team?? I really like what I see from Jenson Button and what a story is playing out with Brawn and his quick success, but I also really like the young Nico Rosburg and the williams team.

Before him damon, after him Lewis. A driver supporter foremost you see. Teams:- I liked Jordan and Williams, now McLaren , so they kind of follow my driver to a certain extent. My driver has to be exciting and talented, hence lewis and Juan. Damon was the exception, not saying he wasnt talented, he just didnt fit my normal mold. Was just as mad about him though. Welcome aboard!

Rubbbbbbbbbbish! he was a country mile back before the safety car and after that they were told to hold station to preserve the 1-2 finish

Ya team orders, "don't overtake". Its all over youtube. I was disgusted with Jordan and that was the last race that I supported Hill. He didn't deserve the win. Ralf set things straight though at the Imola gp 2001.

He was still faster than Damon in the closing stages, and that's what counts. He could easily have done it. Safety cars are a part of F1 life. Or should luck not count towards anything..?

For the record, I also thought he should've won the European grand prix in '99.

You dont race your team mate in the closing stages of the race in the wet, not when you're lying 1-2, and a first win for the team. Damon had already radioed to say "Look I can race him if thats what you want". Stupidity. I know safety cars are`part of racing , Im just saying without it he was way back. It was stupid to race at that time. and team orders were allowed then, perfectly legal. It was when Shumacher completely abused them and started applying them before the race even started that they got banned.

They decided to hold the Jordans as they were because Alesi was a threat (remember Alesi used to excel in wet conditions).
