Hey People! I'm from Newfoundland, Canada, I've been a Formula 1 Fan since 1998. Never Missed a race since then, even the 4-5am races. I have my own formula 1 fantasy game at another board, but I wont post the link, cuz i am not a Spammer. If you want the link, just PM me...but anyways, I hope to be a regular poster here, and meet some nice people. I am also a Sim Racer, with NR2003 and GTR2. The 2009 Season seems to be one of the most competitve Seasons Ever! I hope Brawn GP can keep their wins, when the FIA decide about the Defusers.

Hi Newfie!
Welcome to the banter here.
And yes, I'm sure Brawn will retain the victories either way.

As a Competitor or a Spectator?

As a spectator for my first attendance yet I would be interested in talking about other options. I LUV the targa and it would be an honor to assist in anyway possible.

Well I'll be the first to tell you that you will be doing a lot of traveling if you plan on following the Rally. The past couple of years most of the stages are in around Gander, and Marystown. I'm only Saftey Marshal for the Flatrock stage, and Leg 1 at The Keg, and The Finish, because its all in the St. John's Area. So for like Hotel/Motel stuff, I can only give you options around the St. John's area. I'd say you have already checked it out, but go to www.targanewfoundland.com for the exact places where Targa is going. If you want to be a Saftey Marshal, Sign up to be one on the site, and you will have to do a Saftey Course Marshal Training session, about a week or so before the Event. Hope That helps a little bit!
