I think it is true. I just googled Ron Dennis and got a report from 2hrs ago, says an announcement will be made tomorrow and hamilton is being sheilded from the press at this weekends GP. What was going on there?????

Dennis's decision to step back is also likely to be a consequence of pressure exerted by Anthony Hamilton, the world champion's father and manager, who does not get on with Dennis. He is believed to have been furious with what he saw as the team selling his son's reputation to try to gain a single championship point. Relations between the two are said to have reached a point at which Hamilton Sr, and to a lesser extent his son, did not want to continue with McLaren while Dennis was in charge.

Since when the hell did Anthony Hamilton start running Mclaren? This is an outrage. Never before has a relative of a driver seemingly had the power to force anyone's hand before.
And if this is true, why does he not get on with Ron? Was it because Ron gave more opportunities to Lewis? Or Ron Refused to let Ant be Lewis's team mate this year?

Probably because Dennis wouldn't put Hamilton in to Formula One before 2007, which was why Anthony Hamilton tried to strike a deal with Williams.

Anthony Hamilton should form his own team, 'Hamilton' where he can drive along side Lewis.... he'll purposely hit other drivers on the track to ensure his son wins

Probably because Dennis wouldn't put Hamilton in to Formula One before 2007, which was why Anthony Hamilton tried to strike a deal with Williams.

I think this goes a lot deaper than that. That was Anthony calling Ron's bluff to go with the race seat for 2007 (NOT BEFORE).In 2006 Lewis was winning the GP2.
