Brawn are gonna walk away with this one.

Oh and nice comment from Brawn pretty good of him not to gloat or w/e

Brawn: We respect our rivals' decision to protest
Wednesday 15th April 2009

Brawn GP are ready to move on after the International Court of Appeal declared the design of their diffuser legal.

The ICA rejected the appeals by Ferrari, Red Bull Racing, Renault and BMW following an eight-hour hearing in Paris on Tuesday.

The ruling gives Brawn GP's hopes of winning the World Championship a big boost as Jenson Button remains at the top of the standings following back-to-back victories in Australia and Malaysia.

The team's principal Ross Brawn is delighted that the team can finally put the issue behind.

"We are pleased with the decision reached by the International Court of Appeal today," Brawn said after the ruling.

"We respect the right of our competitors to query any design or concept used on our cars through the channels available to them.

"The FIA Technical Department, the Stewards at the Australian and Malaysian Grands Prix and now five judges at the International Court of Appeal have confirmed our belief that our cars have always strictly complied with the 2009 Technical Regulations.

"The decision of the International Court of Appeal brings this matter to its conclusion and we look forward to continuing on the track the challenge of what has been a very exciting start to the 2009 FIA Formula One World Championship."

To be fair, with the best car on the grid, he doesn't need to gloat - just watch his drivers take all the wins :P

ahh yes, i wasnt 100% sure on BMW's eta on the double decker. Renault might even have one for China

Andrew Ford seemed to be pushing the point that Renault had their double decker diffuser ready to go already! This would be most awesome if they could get it on the car and working for China! :D

'Ready to go' doesn't mean at its peak performance, though. Theissen said that a rushed job could add a tenth or two, but a thorough job could give upwards of half a second.

Last week's Autosport says that Renault do have a prototype they can use in China as well...

RB will struggle with their suspension arrangement, and supposedly it's Ferrari's gearbox that is preventing them from making the change so easily.

Maybe, they were my thoughts when I first saw the Diffuser in Australia but now after looking at the other diffusers in quite a bit of detail it just wouldn't work but I wouldn't be surprised if the double decker had that overall shape.

true it does, but for it to work properly they probably need to make further changes to the aero of the car around the sidepods etc.
