Good to hear that all is well with the diffusers. nothing was wrong with them, just as everyone outside of Ferrari expected.

Thank goodness for that! I can breathe easy now! Now they are declared legal will we see McLaren and/or Renault trying out diffusers this weekend? Renault apparently had one on standby and McLaren have been working hard on one too.

I think it will be Bahrain before McLaren use theirs not sure about Renault though!

Yeah i agree, I doubt McLaren will be ready for this weekend! But i think Renault will surprise a few, will be interesting to see if they can make a massive leap and throw in their KERS they might have the package this weekend!

and when are Ferrari going tom use them. Surely they have prepaired for this as well?

I've heard they will have to redesign the whole rear end including new gearbox casings and may not have one until Turkey may just be rumours though.

they cant just chuck one on they said they will have to redesign the whole rear end which will take a month or so!

Redbull is also in a similar position with their pull rod suspension, they willl have to redesign the wole suspension and rear end aswell.

BMW McLaren and Renault etc dont have to make as many radical changes apparently and will have one on sooner.

Good news for Formula One.
 Finally a slightly happier story.
I think the non-diffuser teams will mainly have to wait until Spain before they introduce their version with the exception of Mclaren who have probably got one already made and will probably add it in Bahrain.
I think this doesn't do good for the harmony amongst the teams. Alot of personal insulting went on in Paris yesterday, I think trust will be slightly damaged.

And Yeah I agree bud, Ferrari will have serious problems implementing their changes. That's why Raikkonen made that "make of break" decision interview.

I dont remember the 2009 koledar off by heart and i cant be bothered looking it up right now, so please tell me how many races away Turkey is from now?

So Unless the Big 2 - 3 Mclaren, Ferrari and Renault get there act together.

Brawn are gonna walk away with this one.

Oh and nice comment from Brawn pretty good of him not to gloat or w/e

Brawn: We respect our rivals' decision to protest
Wednesday 15th April 2009

Brawn GP are ready to move on after the International Court of Appeal declared the design of their diffuser legal.

The ICA rejected the appeals by Ferrari, Red Bull Racing, Renault and BMW following an eight-hour hearing in Paris on Tuesday.

The ruling gives Brawn GP's hopes of winning the World Championship a big boost as Jenson Button remains at the top of the standings following back-to-back victories in Australia and Malaysia.

The team's principal Ross Brawn is delighted that the team can finally put the issue behind.

"We are pleased with the decision reached by the International Court of Appeal today," Brawn said after the ruling.

"We respect the right of our competitors to query any design or concept used on our cars through the channels available to them.

"The FIA Technical Department, the Stewards at the Australian and Malaysian Grands Prix and now five judges at the International Court of Appeal have confirmed our belief that our cars have always strictly complied with the 2009 Technical Regulations.

"The decision of the International Court of Appeal brings this matter to its conclusion and we look forward to continuing on the track the challenge of what has been a very exciting start to the 2009 FIA Formula One World Championship."

I look forward to seeing Mclaren's diffuser but I doubt they will be ready for the weekend.

Great News for Brawn, Toyota and Williams

Good decision. Especially since i read somewhere that Adrian Newey might have a new diffuser r4eady to bolt on for at least Spain if not Bahrain.
Once Williams have their KERS in i think these 2 teams could give Brawn some grief or at least a bit of a challenge
