The FIA has issued the following statement:

"The FIA International Court of Appeal has decided to deny the appeals submitted against decisions numbered 16 to 24 taken by the Panel of the Stewards on 26 March at the 2009 Grand Prix of Australia and counting towards the 2009 FIA Formula One World Championship.

"Based on the arguments heard and evidence before it, the Court has concluded that the Stewards were correct to find that the cars in question comply with the applicable regulations.

"Full reasons for this decision will be provided in due course."

I just hear a huge great crash and wondered what it was - only to discover it was Ferrari chucking their dummy out of the pram.

At last some sanity. Now let's get on with some racing.

Redbull and Ferrari would be the most pissed off with the rework they will now have to do!

Renault and McLaren and maybe BMW wont be hurt so bad i do not think.

Good to hear that all is well with the diffusers. nothing was wrong with them, just as everyone outside of Ferrari expected.

Apparently, BMW will have a their new diffusers ready by the Spanish GP.

I just don't know why they couldn't sort out the diffuser issue in the off-season.

Ferrari, Ferrari, Ferrari. Why point the finger at Ferrari. Red Bull, Renault, BMW and even McLaren were just as much in on this as Ferrari. Either way Ferrari and co will put difusers in their cars.l Give it a couple more GPs and it will be Ferrari versus McLaren again like F1 should be. Brawn and the others can rot in the shiit hole after that happens. In the end we all know that the teams with the most money will win. F1 is all about Ferrari versus McLaren. That is where the fun is, the rivalry etc. The rest are just boring little suckers their to make the numbers.

Thank goodness for that! I can breathe easy now! Now they are declared legal will we see McLaren and/or Renault trying out diffusers this weekend? Renault apparently had one on standby and McLaren have been working hard on one too.
