well youll have to suffer another night, its said the result of the appeal will be made public tomorrow. I hope thats not true i would like to know the outcome tonight(today)

and i wouldnt worry about the results as ive said numerous times I doubt they will do a retrospective result change because they were deemed legal by the stewards.

Id be more worried about getting the car sorted for this weekends race if they ban the diffusers!

I'm not sure, I think the results may get changed unlike 2006 when Renault stopped using the mas Damper as soon as the FIA appealed the decision so they got away without loosing points but this time all three teams have been racing under appeal. The FIA can make some weird decisions as well look at the Mass Damper they banned it saying it was a Movable aerodynamic device how the hell can it be a movable aerodynamic device when it is completely enclosed within the car :S

I'm hopeful in ways that the diffuser will be made illegal then things could make a nice shake up, but with this I also hope they are made legal because Ferrari have just started to design there - last week- there diffuser which would now most probably be fitted if rumours were true. It's going to cause a massive shake up in the garage; it will also set the tone for the weekend. So I’m not looking forward to the News tonight

A nice shake-up? The current formbook is a nice shake-up! It's nice to see teams other than McLaren or Ferrari at the top. I don't see why something should be banned just because your team wasn't smart enough to come up with it in the first place. Ross offered teams the chance to close the loophole, they didn't take it. It is their own fault.

I think Ferrari and BMW have Spain noted down as the race where they will bring the new diffusers but I have heard rumours that McLaren with it's extremely fast development and production capacity may have their diffuser for Bahrain. What I would say is that you can't simply use the diffuser as a single upgrade and expect it to work and give more speed the multiple deck diffusers need to be fed a lot more air so they need a better front wing that redirects air under the car better and a better front splitter.

If I see a deck of cards slightly UN shuffled and I can see a winning hand. I take the winning hand and keep that hand for 2 games. Cheating would you say? While realising I have an opportunity to maybe win from people not noticing that I have prospered from people not realising and breaking the rules. That is what has happened, while the loop hole may have been able to have been closed of the teams did NOT have the time to re-do the car nor would they have argued the case because they would of thought it made no difference, thru there current race pace they should question it with nearly second faster, the top 4 which are the cars that are under investigation are half-to a full second quicker than the people running the proper system. That is evidence right there! Yes, it is a nice shake up at most, you miss read what I put with NOT reading the positives in which I put. What ever I say will not affect people’s opinions. But I believe it should be made Illegal if a shake up is caused it should be done on proper terms. If made legal I will be happy, if not I will expect Brawn will not participate in this weekends Gp.

On that note I totally understand and agree with you, Miracles do not happen over night. I am hopeful we even catch a 6th place this race. But my opinions are my opinions, Please someone look up the meaning of a forum. It is a chance to discuss our own beliefs and opinions. I believe that they should be made illegal.

You most welcome to your opinions everyone is but the legality of the diffusers is not a moral issue it is a technical one. So you think they are illegal under what part of the regulations do you think they are illegal?

Uh, what? Ross brought this up over a year in advance.

And the current shake-up is done on proper terms. All advantages in motorsport have been made through loopholes in recent years, because the technical regulations are far too closed to allow for major innovation.

They are illegally using the rear crash structure in order to generate additional down force? In which I find could be classed as n aero dynamic did on in which on BBC Radio 5L they also thought in the beginning to the Oz weekend it was an add on in which will improve, as if McLaren used the same diffuser it would shave of half a second and also help them with there main down force problem! That goes the same for Ferrari...Weird how most of the teams suffer from the down force problem and Brawn seems not to have that problem :scratchchin:

No one is disputing the Fact that the Brawn, Toyota and Williams Diffusers increase down force in the case of all three they use the rear crash structure I'm also of the opinion that the Williams and Toyota are also using the shape of the gearbox casing in the fourth(Toyota)/ third(Williams) deck of their diffusers. But I still fail to see how this is against any regulations. Though I also still fail to see how the Mass damper was against any regulations.

Loopholes aren't illegal, they're...loopholes. Once again, Brawn saw the opportunity, allowed teams the chance to close it, they refused. So he used it. It was obviously within the rules otherwise he wouldn't have had to offer them the chance to close the loophole. Face it, the other teams just weren't smart enough to use it like Brawn, Toyota and Williams have.

In that case then today if fount illegal they should make major changes to the rules and make them strict so we all have the same sort of car, different aerodynamics etc. But with the same principles. I was hoping to choose a career in Motor sport and had a major chance with meetings Booked in Florida and me to go on scholarship with Panther racing. To go to a racing school, go to Formula barber and see where my life takes me. But failings in my contract with a company. In which case I would prefer and still would prefer to go to Indy, as that is all-fair and is based on talent. Formula 1 is becoming far too legal. It will soon be room full of cars with a judge standing over telling them what to do.
