it is illegal with Ferrari, et al and not in accordance with the spirit of the rules to reduce down force, it is like removing down force on the rear wing but you have to find out where you can increase down force on the other way around the rear, but the ruling is not based on the spirit but on the letter of the rules. :hehe::hehe::hehe::hehe::hehe::hehe:

I hope they're ruled legal. I dont see why they would be ruled illegal after all these weeks of being ruled legal.

tell that to the mass damper :hehe:

Well, if it is ruled illegal I hope the diffuser teams are still strong.

Personally I believe that the diffusers are illegal according to the letter of the rules, due to the holes necessary to feed air to the second deck.

But I also expect the FIA to deem them legal.

I can't see anything illegal about the intake holes, what do you think is illegal about them? The not being able to see any bodywork from below bit?

IMHO ,Zilch is going to change. If the stewards in Oz and malaysia ruled that were legal, this hearing is highly unlikely to overturn that decision. As I have said b4 I cannot understand what the objections are, Ross brought this to the fore many months ago and so the other's shouldn't now whinge about how much difference the diffusers are creating. The other's have been caught with their pants around their ankles and have now got to adapt themselves.

I cant wait to see this. Just more to get it over with and start seeing some racing like what F1 is actually about and hopefully put all the bullshiit politics aside for the rest of the season. :)

Reminds me of men and their shavers. First there was the twin blade. Then the Gillete Mach 3 (3 blades), then the opposition Schik made the quattro (4 blade one) and surprise, surprise, Gillete went and made a 5 blade one. Now I am waiting to see Schik make a 6 blade one. *LOL*

Anything above three blades has no added effect. I'm sure it won't be the same case with the diffusers :P
