I dont know how I feel about Lewis and Mclaren at the moment, Lewis is making out to be the victim, of which he is not! I just want to see what 'punishment' the team is inflicted on and take it from there.

I remember those days. I liked McLaren in those days (didn't support them, mind you - my blood is yellow through and through), though it was largely due to Hakkinen and then Raikkonen.

Those were much happier times, Ive always supported Mclaren but my loyality to them is slowly decreasing.... I hope they can turn things around

Im not disputing that, just wondering about McLaren Fan's change of heart.

Alonso's a great driver, and with Hamilton and some of McLaren's management out of the way, there's no reason why both parties couldn't do business.

Alonso doesn't seem a terribly likeable guy, at least when it comes to Formula One. However, what you see is what you get. I would find that less frustrating than listening to Hamilton's nauseating platitudes about how much he loves McLaren.

If Hamilton wants to join Brawn he can't simply walk into Ross Brawn's office and demand a contract. Brawn is fully behind Button, and for the second seat I can't see Barrichello being dropped anytime soon. I think Ross has also got another eye on Bruno Senna's progress, he has always commented that Bruno was very impressive in the November test last year, and I can see him as a successor to Barrichello.

And then you've got the joker card in the F1 silly-season speculation game - Alonso.

I think with Hamilton right now anyone can see the potential this young man has and the raw talent that he displays when driving.
Any team would be glad to have him as they know that he will last the course .Im sure that in 10-15 years he will be an absolute legend.

We all make mistakes and no ones perfect but we are so lucky to have him representing the UK .
In the long term hes unbeatable

I think the Lewis, Alonso 07 line-up was the strongest driver line up in any team since Senna and Prost. To bad it ended so badly and so quickly! Both brilliant drivers both with massive faults.
