the big question here is, do you think Screwis will apologise if this scandal with McLiar did not come out in the open? I don't think so. :nono:

You have to put that into question context if McLaren got away with it then Lewis admitted to lying what would of McLaren his employer say?

Not much new revealed by this article. It's mostly describing the mood and background of the surrounding circumstances (e.g., as we, some forum members, have pointed out that race control was busy frying bigger fish than some amateurish inquiry by McLaren - now we know from first hand and what it all entailed).
The overall picture seems to have been clear to (most of) us before this article.

Sutil may have got it right, no link provided just read f1-live.com today.

I don't think so, looks like the FIA are not going to be punishing Hamilton any more for "Lie Gate" I think it will be McLaren taking the rest of the hits which suggests that the FIA are more prejudiced towards McLaren than they are 'racist' towards Hamilton.

It all boils down to motives and intentions, that is, protecting something good or protecting something bad. So which is it?

I'm pretty sure Lewis would not of admitted to lying until he either left McLaren or left F1 but he would of been under enormous pressure from large commercial entities to keep his mouth shut and lets be honest unlike an individual large commercial entities may have a lack morals and a great consideration to their profits and shareholders.

Now that's a good way of looking at it. On the other hand, external bonds such as loss of reputation, honor, or gain is a big thing.
