Oh good, dont want to go down that I'm a guy road again...mwahahaha... Im actually a horse, I type pretty good, what with lack of digits an' all
Hopefully Hamilton does leave McLaren. McLaren needs a driver who act responsibly, think independently, take responsibility for his actions and is a team player. The team's wage bill would be a bit cheaper as well.
Paffet or Davidson
I'm not sure Paffet is really good enough to step up to a racing seat. De la Rosa would be a better short-term option. Davidson has shown he's maybe worth trying out. Di Resta is in the McLaren driver programme, so I'm sure he'd be thinking he deserves a chance. Whilst it's tough to say how well he would do in Formula One, he's shown enough promise to warrant a crack at the whip. I would like to see McLaren try to lure Vettel, Alonso (albeit unlikely in those cases) and Rosberg to the team.
You'd like to see McLaren try to lure Alonso back? Do I take it your opinion of Alonso has changed then?
Off-track antics aside, he's still a spectacular grand prix driver.

Stewart to Brawn: don't sack Barrichello for Hamilton
Speculation ongoing ahead of McLaren hearing

Brawn GP should not sack Rubens Barrichello in favour of reigning World Champion Lewis Hamilton, Sir Jackie Stewart has warned.
Ahead of McLaren's appearance on sporting fraud charges at the World Motor Sport Council later this month, it is speculated that a negative result could cause Hamilton to quit the British team.
It is becoming clear that - if found guilty on the disrepute charge - the most likely sanction for McLaren is suspension for multiple races, which could also trigger the 24-year-old and his furious father and manager Anthony's departure.
The only team linked with the potentially on-the-market Hamilton so far is the dominant Brawn, already powered by McLaren's engine partner Mercedes-Benz, who are annoyed about the scandal so soon after the 'spy-gate' saga of 2007.
With Jenson Button leading the World Championship, it is suggested amongst the speculation that the most likely Brawn driver to move over for Hamilton would be the veteran Rubens Barrichello.
But Stewart, who between 1997 and 1999 employed the Brazilian racer at his own F1 team, said: "Rubens is very experienced in the setting up of the car, Lewis is not."
"And Ross (Brawn) needs that knowledge right now because of the ban on in-season testing," he added.

I don't think Lewis is going to get be banned from any races more likely McLaren are going to take a huge hit to the wallet and the Constructors Title. But I would agree that Lewis is somewhat weak on the technical sides of things.

It never said anything about Hamilton getting a ban.
Ross would never sack Rubens for Lewis. For one thing, Lewis is too expensive and Brawn has no need to hire a hotshot, they already have Jenson Button. For another, Rubens has done nothing wrong, he's a loyal and valuable member of the team. Lewis on the other hand would cause nothing but drama, and he can do no better for the team than Jenson is already doing, so it would be a total waste of time, effort and money.
Lewis can stay at McLaren and he can damn well like it. He owes them more than 2 years of service.
