I got quite choked over Cevert in the JYS one. Thing is, Stewart had close friends in F1. He moved to Switzerland along with the Courages and the Rindts and by the end of 1970 both were dead and their houses sold. Then Cevert became close to the family only to be killed. Must have been awful to see so many friends go like that.

It was another world. Incomparable with today's racing.

Alex Sammond?

Na he can get to f***. :hehe:
I'm just saying, some people tend to harp on about Mansell or Hill, Hunt or even Hamilton (great drivers they are), but the most successful British World Champions came from the remote Scottish Borders of Dumbartonshire, they came from rags to riches.

You're right there! Jackie not quite from rags but two stunning drivers from Scotland!

Well in a way he is, his family wasn't exactly full of money, they only owned that small garage.
