Now he's even thinking of jumping ship after bringing the whole mclaren team in disrepute. This topic is really boring me to no end. its 23:59 here so I guess its time to hit the clubs else I gonna die of boredom. ...

Tony, before you go out to some club to hump a poor hapless dingo, will you kindly post a link to an actual statement/interview where Lewis has stated he either is or is thinking about leaving McLaren. Not what the rags are printing or intimating, an actual quote from the lad himself....................................................................Tumbleweed

Max .... Lets drop it man. its gonna be difficult to prove and I dont want to go into this. its been discussed to hell and gone. like you said - the dingos is waiting. time to drop this and maybe return after the next race. you enjoy what you doing. just remember. nothings always black or white. its the grey inbetween that makes the diffirence. ....... cheers.

Oh look, another opinion thread with a title that makes it sound like proven fact. Post a source please, or your opinion is no better than anyone else's.

Personally, I don't know or care whether or not Hamilton is GOING to leave Mclaren. He has been reported in several places as considering it, which could also be untrue I suppose but after viewing his antics for a while now...I would not doubt it. What is certainly and unquestionably true is that he has recently been caught lying about his cheating. Equally true is that his reputation as well as his fan base has taken a severe hit, while his most loving fans are still in as much denial as ever....and have gone around attacking anyone on a webboard who has dared to utter the fact that a 24 year old millionaire world champion should have enough backbone not to lie to stewards on multiple days...even if asked to by his team. If said world champion, millionaire, self appointed heir to Senna does choose to lie repeatedly and gets caught...he probably should not then claim he is the victim and blame it all on his team.

There are, of course, differing opinions on this. His 'real' fans claim that he should in fact lie, cheat and lie again...and that he is, naturally, the victim in all of this because poor little millionaire world champion Hamilton was being controlled by his team....well up until he roasted them in a press conference he called for that purpose. The team's voicebox remote control had its battery system melt down...thereby releasing their voodoo hold on poor little millionaire world champion Hamilton for just long enough for him to declare his status as victim. It's almost enough to make you feel sorry for the guy. Ok, which of you is going to start the Hamilton Millionaire World Champion Relief Fund so that we can all contribute to his therapy...which will one day cure him of the depression inherent in being led so very far astray without one's consent. I am sure the traumatic events of his victimization can be worked through with a few thousand hours of couch time. I can see it now......

"It was terrible Doc...they wanted me to...oh dear god...to...LIE! Lord please help me...I just didn't know what to do?"

But it was several days later that you lied again....as an F1 driver your mind thinks in thousandths of a second...several days wasn't enough time to think it over?

Oh the horror....help me Tom Cruise....the horror....I'm the victim here....they made me do it....oh, and I'm sorry.....it wasn't my fault...it was that evil man that made me do it

Oh no you don't my South African friend, you stated quite clearly in my highlighted red comment of yours above "Now he's even thinking of jumping ship". Show me where he has given an official comment/statement/interview that this is the case. Come on the hot little bitch called Fido will still be waiting

You mean, exactly like this one? I don't mind it when people are participating in a slightly heated debate, but this thread is only eighteen (now nineteen) posts old and already Tony and Max are at it. Quite offensively so, in fact.

I have to laugh at the hypocrisy. The opening line of the first post asks for the threat to be kept civil, and yet the thread starter is hurling insults round childishly. I've never made a request like this before, but could you please put a stop to it? It's getting ridiculous...

theres 2-3 threads on this subject most people accept its media hype why create another man?

Co's the other one got locked

The other one obviously got locked for a reason  so don't be surprised if this one does too.

It got locked because everyone broke the swear filter.

...and because it had turned into a slanging match rather than an F1 debate... must be a glitch in the Matrix, cause i've got deja vu here. :P

Oh and Maxie, will you kindly post a link to an actual statement/interview where Lewis has stated he either is not or is not thinking about leaving McLaren?

It has been in the press for a while now that he is considering leaving and since he has shown his propensity to call a press conference any time he likes....you would think he would have corrected the misinformed public by now wouldn't he? Oh, I could be wrong there....he is probably in with his therapist trying to get over the trauma of being forced to tell his very first (ever) lie on march 29th. After this session, he is going to another therapist to start discussing his second through tenth (ever) lies spoken a few days later to the stewards and then the press. Poor little guy....

No ma'am, I have not misunderstood. THIS thread was started because Mad Max and a few others were insulting everyone in the other thread who doesn't believe Hamilton's lying is someone else's fault. When that thread was closed because of too much drama, said drama queen created another so that he could still argue with someone. He didn't create it to set the record straight, because he doesn't know any more certainly than anyone else what Hammy is thinking, considering or going to do. He created this thread so that he could continue the argument.
#106005
Ok i still don't understand how anyone could defend hamilton's actions, particularly the loyal mclaren fans. The first race he's comes out saying he'd be open to listening to other teams offers,i know F1 drivers are selfish but they're not daft enough to come out with that the first race especially to a team that has looked after him since he was a boy and now Haug claims he is ready to leave them in this moment of self induced crisis well thats loyalty for you.
