The FIA aren't using this as a means to combat the undoubted corruption in Formula One. It's purely about politics and personal vendettas. Take the spy scandal in 2007. As with not telling the full story to the stewards, spying really is rampant in Formula One. There were three high-profile espionage cases: Toyota, McLaren and Renault. Out of those three, McLaren's dealing were probably the least serious, but they were hit with a gigantic punishment. Toyota and Renault were exonerated.

And where did you get your news regarding all this from?

It's common knowledge.

What i'd like to know is, If Michael said it, or Juan said it i might take interest but Ralf?
That's a joke! I wouldn't listen to him

Yes, it's common knowledge that truth is only true if it comes from the right set of lips.

Yes, I know, but where did you get this news from? Were you at the courts or did you get the "press" reports? Did you see any of the legal documentation or sucked up the summary?

In practice there were probably many things in the legal criterion that Renault didn't match to get penalized. The FIA would have only been too happy to fine everyone involved. There's no conspiracy against McLaren.

yeah first off the name of the constructor in question did not have a Mc infront of it so no punishment needed.
