Hell yeah man, I grew up with that band! I just hope they dont take the Green Day path.

I'm looking forward to the new Green Day Album :P

As for Blink yeah it is great that they have reformed. I had Dude Ranch on for the first time in an age the other day. Forgot how much I liked them!

I saw a picture of Green Day on some magazine recently - they look even more emo than last time, which doesn't bode well.

Has anyone heard any of the leaked songs from the new album?>

Haha yeah!! Enema of the State was my first Blink album, and man I have so many memories of when I was a kid listening to that cd all the time.

I'm sorry but I love classic Green day. :P I will admit though that I did like some of their new songs in AI.

Well I'd agree. The likes of Dookie and Nimrod really own American Idiot and even this new album, but American Idiot wasn't a bad album - just too publicised. It kinda sucked the meaning of Green Day in a way.

I used to love Greenday and Blink!

I just went to a massive tent party with an epic bonfire on Dartmoor National Park, my friend has a huge house there with many acres of forest, we listened to this...

My Favourite song- Fortunate Son by Creedence Clearwater Revival (ccr)

I'm listening to Creedence now (VERY loudly), got the house to myself with a few beers and a pack of cigs... perfect. :)

I really liked American Idiot :boxedin: (although the singles were stupendously overplayed...)

I'd agree with that. I think the fact that their songs were overplayed, or that every Music Channel or Magazine wanted a piece of them kinda ruined it for the older fans. However sometimes I find those fans and myself to be fickle. Its like we want Green Day to remain almost "underground" so they can't be popular and we can have them all to ourselves to say to people "hey im so out there I like such and such". :hehe:
