Hmm, i think this may have been a bit twisted to make the prospect seem even more real than it might necessarily be in reality (due to some of the grammar used in that article - although i could be reading into things waaaaay to much or just incorrectly - i consider things with single quotation marks to not be a direct quote, unlike the usual speech marks), but the fact that Haug acknowledged that the thought had most likely gone through his head shows that the potential move is there - something must be going on if any amount of doubt has been induced in either party.

If Hamilton has actually considered leaving McLaren then he has basically considered stabbing nigh on everyone who made him in the back. 'Inexcusable' and 'sickening' would be the first words to come to mind if this were the case.
