how can you say F1 is better off with the US? its the biggest market in the world.

and going by having a driver as a reason to have a gp then why are they going to go to singapore why india? NK wont even have a race seat!! not that he deserves one

Montreal is a great F1 town and is close. Good luck getting off the Island after the race however. Indy was a great viewing track, too bad it has some serious bad luck with F1. It was bound to happen. Detroit (Belle Isle) would be a great venue.

Well, I just think Asia has a better market for F1(not for the reason I live in India) and they are just my thoughts.

Asia and Europe is a better market for F1 but the US is a bigger market for the manufacturers. BMW, Ferrari, and Mercedes have stated in the past that the US GP is the most important race for them because of the numbers of cars sold in the US. THe US GP have always attracted a large crowd (even after the Michellin fiasco), BMW, Mercedes, and Ferrari have always put extra events into their into their camps to please their fans @ US GP. Where else on the calender can fans just walk the the pits, talk to the drivers with their Q&A sesssions, and roam freely into any camp??

Suprisingly I only paid less then $40 (yearly) for my BMWCCA (BMW Car Club of America), this memberships includes many BMW sponsored events includng autocrossing (Laguna Seca, Sears Point, Road America, etc...) racing events (America LeMans). BMW will set up a hospitality area for members at each event including catering. One of events BMW sponsored is the US GP. BMW members get private designated parking, a hospitality area including food/drinks, and some of the speakers for that day included Heidfeld, Dr. THeissen, . Bill Auberlain, JJ Lehto and Boris Said was also there. All the BMW race cars of past/present was there to take pictures. Of course we still had to pay for the race itself, but we got a discount (BMW paid for 20%). Both Mercedes and Ferrari had similiar events. Too bad greedy old man Bernie got in the way.

While F1 claims to be a WORLD Championship, without a race in the USA it is not. I'm surprised the teams have not spoken up about this. Ferrari, Mercedes, Toyota and even Honda have the biggest markets in the world right here in the USA. Seems that Bernie only wants to get richer. That is the stumbling block, MONEY. Tony George spent MILLIONS to create a track and facility to Bernie's standards and then Bernie wants more. He should drop dead where he is and then F1 would be a better place. What an bottom !!!!!

Attendence for the US GP has increased for the last two years. TV coverage for the US GP has switched from Cable TV to national free tv in the US for everyone to watch. Ratings has gone up. What more can you ask for??

Hey flyer calling something the world championship hasnt stopped the Americans using the term for their World Series of baseball and the NBA World champion basketball teams just s*** stirring, i think that we will see the Indy race on next year, i think this is a typical bernie stunt well i hope so anyway!
