Recently: coincident with Hamilton's success: the old regime of F1 being shown "live" on screens in Atlanta via Speed TV has been abandoned for some local Fox Channel (WAGA) to show the darn thing five hours after the race.

In the past: whatever the time of the race, it would be shown live, and then repeated at a time more suited to whatever the local marketing whizzes figgered would be logical.

However: this last idea has decreed that you simply can't get F1 live, sans "live timing". F1 is an event, and the third biggest TV event in the world, somewhat typical for American TV to show endless "Church Hours" across its entire network of hundreds of channels while keeping back the one thing we all want to see.

I'd gladly pay, I DO pay for it, my TV subscription costs $60 a month, yet I get advertised to death, and now the one thing I keep a cable sub for, is move on to a non live show.

So, does anyone else out there want to see F1 as a complete show, on its own, without the effing adverts, LIVE, and prepared to pay per race for the show?

If so, any idea how we can get Bernie to listen?

Yes, in a word. I can't stand the adverts over here on ITV and would spend a small fortune for proper uninterupted, HD 1080p coverage!

Whatever happened to Bernievision?

Goodness, yes! ;)

He's CEO of Formula One Administration Ltd and Formula One Management Ltd - they are both based out of:

6 Princes Gate
London
SW7 1QJ
United Kingdom

Otherwise you could try dropping him a line at 'Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile' - not sure that would work, but the FIA have strong connections with Bernie, FOM, FOA and associated group companies (of which I can think of three off the top of my head).

And good luck!

Its delayed here in Australia too, if only it could make its way onto foxtel cable tv here they would have it live as they do with the motogp
