The question is this. Did you notice how hard it is to slow the Kers cars down?
All that Engine Braking isn't helping!

Yeah. It seems worse in the Renault... I don't get what they mean by engine braking though, cause i thought it was banned along with TC after 2007.

Nah you could still change down and use the gearbox to slow the car down surly?

On the whole, Williams look worse than they actually are cause Nakajima is pretty suspect (imo)...

(In EVERYONE's opinion)

He is barely ahead of Piquet after all.

Concievably yeah, eg i do it driving around on the street, however i don't know if you could just do it like that racing an F1 car around a track without breaking something. Might be wrong though!

Edit: a root around suggests to me that the banned engine braking systems basically opened the throttle under braking to stop the rear wheels locking, which is just a mega complex form of ABS.

Piquet & Nakajima are two drivers who after last year should not be on the grid. Specially Nakajima, but Williams no doubt get Toyota engines (for less) thanks to his presence.

Especially Nakajima? He's been nothing special, but ten-times better than the much-vaunted Piquet, who's just been embarrassing.

Indeed. I was unsurprised and not horrified to see Naka retained (Though I don't really rate him that highly), but Piquet...Come onnnnnnn

Piquet passing Alonso in France last year was impressive & in Europe when Alonso won Piquet gave Kimi hell for 3rd right to the end. So ya Piquet in my books has potential if he can keep it on the track but Nakajima is plain s**t, i always remember him running over his pit crew in his first race thinking this guy is a joke. All his points last year were lottery points none were for actual pace in a race.

Edit: Piquet still should have been put back in the testing seat at Renault though, hes not good enough for the race seat.

I'd disagree, two or three race results out of a full season and a bit isn't enough.
And of those races he was absolutely no where near his teammate!

I'm not arguing with you mate, Piquet was no where near good enough last year. Grosjean should be Alonso's team mate this year.

You're right, nowhere else in F1 do you see two teammates who perform so differently with the same team. Although Kovy always never seems to be as good as Hamilton, he at least is always with him in the qualifying sessions. Not the case with Piquet though, he shouldn't have came back this year. For him finishing a race, is a good race, and he's finished none this year. (If you count Malaysia as not finishing of course)
