I remember seeing on TV a year or two ago a piece about the Monaco Grand Prix and they gave details of an area of public ground which over looked the race track and if you we're willing to get there the night before, you were gauranteed a good spot to watch the race for free.

Has anyone got any details where this viewing/public area is? I would imagine that this area would have quite a nice party atmosphere, if anyone has any first hand experience, please share.
