So are we seeing a return to their somewhat calamitous pre-Schumacher and Todt days? It certainly looks like it...

That was one helluva gamble. I think a change to inters would've made more sense than full wets...

as of this moment, i am still a ferrari fan...
but as the original poster mentioned, i do feel a hint that they are returning to the pre-todt/schumacher days...

on the other hand, i feel that there isn't chemistry happening between kimi and ferrari?
i also have a feeling that kimi have somehow lost the fighting spirit after winning his WDC2007....looking back to 2008 and so far in 2009...
... but hopefully i am wrong

Ferrari are a complete shambles. Since Brawn has left, their strategy calls have often been, shall we say, questionable, and their cars' reliability has also become very patchy.

Kudos to Raikkonen, though. It was highly amusing seeing him in his three-quarter-lengths eating ice cream. You would only see him do that. :hehe: Contrary to Luca Colajanni's remarks, I don't think he was getting back into his car. :hehe:

I dont think its a lack of motivation, I think he was just pissed that Ferrai messed up his race. He was running really well until that stupid decision.

I'm sure as the season develops, both Ferrari and McLaren will improve those awful cars. Then they will be challenging for pole.

McLaren have the best engine and KERS package on the grid. Their gearbox has been dodgy on one or two occasions, but apart from that the only thing stopping them from winning is the aerodynamics.

Spain would be a better bet. There will be updates for China, but I imagine a revised chassis could make its debut in Spain - BMW Sauber are taking that approach, although their concern is weight rather than aerodynamics.

I would expect some new stuff for China hopefully the new Diffuser and undertray. Was very intresting to hear that BMW are going to have a much modified chasis for spain.

Spain is where you normally see the first big updates on cars.

Like Eddie Jordan said towards the end of todays coverage, Ferrari are usually in a position where they can just buy there way out of trouble in terms of spending what ever they want, but thats just not the case anymore.
