Personally I am really enjoying how this year we have a very different pecking order than what we have been used to.

We have Brawn, Toyota, Williams, {Red bull and BMW (no diffuser fair play)} all right at the sharp end of the grid rather than languishing in the mid field. And the usual front runners like Ferrari, Mclaren and Renault are struggling.

IMO this really makes watching F1 a much more exciting proposition and gives the long suffering fans of these teams a chance to revel in the improvements and potential glory.

These major regs changes are the first in my time watching F1 (2002) and so far I think it has been excellent.

(obviously being a Button fan helps)

it is somewhat refreshing to see Ferrari and McLaren not at the front of things. though McLaren and Ferrari would disagree :hehe:

you can always count on BMW being 3rd

Dont worry about the form of the Champions.....these are initial races....and some hiccups....Ferrari and McLaren will bounce back.....HARD.... :bs:

Actually BMW should be desperately dissapointed with their car. Spending more than half of last season on it, and it doesn't look anything like a race winner. Podiums - yes, wins - no.

I'm not too concerned about the teams winning it at the moment, because my loyalties lie with McLaren (although it's nice to see Brawn do well and I think Williams deserve something). What I am excited about is that the races are more unpredictable (well except for the first two places!) and there is more on-track action.

I agree and I have my faith in McLaren that they can rapidly improve the pace of the MP4-24, The battle between Lewis and Webber today was great and I think the cars can follow closer.

this show that almost every F1 drivers are capable of winning races if they have the right car, Jenson said last year that he would have won the WDC if he had the same car as lewis'. Therefore, I think all F1 drivers have almost the same capability to win races it just down to their mentality when the pressure is mounting through out the season whether they can cope with the pressure or not, and i think the driver that has all that is fernando alonso

Actually I think BMW made its target. Their goal was to be in front of Ferrari and McLaren which they are but NOBODY figured Honda (Brawn GP  ), Red Bull, and Toyota to be so strong. BMW did not develope their until toward the end of last year, not the middle of the season as they were still in the hunt.
