McCheaters strike again! It's bad enough cheating to make your car go faster, but by forcing an opponent into a penalty as well? They are the scum of the earth...

Yeh because your man Schumcher never cheated at all did he?

you stupid hypocrite

deMure is as blind a lamb as they come
Surely he would have to condone cheating before you could claim hypocrisy..?

by attacking McLaren (which is the only reason he even shows up on here) dont you think he does?

Attacking McLaren = condoning cheating..?

Surely he would have to condone cheating before you could claim hypocrisy..?

His Driver lost Hill the championship and nearly lost vilenerve the championship yet he goes on about Mclaren loosing trulli points.

Mclaren weren't cheating then they just withheld info also.

He wants to moan about cheating he should go make a post about times schui cheated.

I still don't think you understand what exactly hypocrisy actually is. Supporting a driver that cheated is not the same as condoning their cheating.

Also, withholding information falls under cheating.

cheat: a deception for profit to yourself

FFS Denthul we all knew what Longbow was implying why are you going on about definitions ffs

Because he made the implication that they weren't cheating. Why else? Before you make claims and use words, you need to make sure they're appropriate. ;)

I dont remember Schumacher owning up to cheating when parking at monaco or when driving into damon

Your euphemisms are simply annoying - just say it once: they lied, they cheated.

There may be some euphemisms being used on here, but some of the hyperbole is equally annoying. You'd think we have just seen The Gun Powder Plot Take Two the way some people are talking.

The arguements about Mclaren are getting repetitive, boring and to be honest achieve nothing other than 2 or 3 of the regulars postings insults at one another that achieve nothing. McLaren screwed up big time, its time to move on and drop the personal insults at people that you have never met other than in cyber-space on a bloody internet forum for goodness sake - grow-up

Here let me show you something called being honest and reasonable. I am a fanatical Lewis Hamilton supporter, but I am so disapointed at what he and McLaren have been embroiled in, it is so damaging to the sport. I am also gutted that Massa is starting towards the arse end of the grid as I like to see a good scrap on the course with the Ferrari's, McLarens and all the other teams.

I am looking forward to watching an exciting race tomorrow, whether my team win or not. Take your personal spats to private messages off the bulletin board

They just went the wrong way about it.

And then they LIED about it :banghead::banghead::banghead:

Yes they did to the first and by that action took points from an innocent party. yes. Wrong! BUT THEY DID IT TO REGAIN WHAT WAS RIGHTFULLY THEIRS!!!
They did not do it to gain what was not righytfully theirs. A big difference between this and past actions by others , which have definately been done to gain an unfair advantage over others.

It was rightfully theirs until the team told Lewis to yield and he complied. This much has already been established...

This thread has been a phenomenally interesting read. Can't quote everything I'd like to so I'll just say my piece.

My opinion is that McLaren were well out of order and I feel like kicking Mr Ryan for putting the team in this situation. After listening to the radio transmission etc it is obvious that Lewis clearly wanted to have things done by the book. Afterwards, he gave an inteview where he openly admitted what had happened as he felt that he had done nothing wrong. I believe that if the truth had been told from the off, that McLaren would have been awarded third place and Trulli given fourth..........as it should have been. The decision (and that's what it was..........an informed choice)to withold information was stupidity at it's best.

Lewis............wrongly or rightly, did what he was told to do.......by his superior. And let's face it, if you were in his position, would you have not done the same (and lets all be honest and jump down from our moral soapbox). Having said that, we all (well some people at least...........and you know who you are) seem to forget that this sort of thing happens all of the time in F1 it is just fortunate for some that they don't get caught!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Truth be told the hypocrisy shown by some on here is outrageous and I for one can't believe the houlier than thou attitude from those that support 'them' that have done things that are just as stupid and underhand (if not more so) :irked:

I actually feel sorry for Lewis for being put in this situation and I sincerely hope that it doesn't compromise his relationship with McLaren. Lewis should have stood by his word, but he didn't. He was told what to say by his employers and he did as was told. he is human and we all make mistakes...........thank god we're not all burned at the stake for it as I for one wouldn't be here to have my say

Sorry for the rant............I'm not a huge poster but felt I had to comment before I exploded :hehe:

I do wish they'd been truthful, because Lewis' drive was just as spectacular as Trulli's. It's a shame they wouldn't have been able to share the podium.
