Its absolutely clear ferarri still had a vacancy in their camp. Ever since they lost Ross they mess up their driver's races. even shumi could have told them to keep massa and kimi out. Personally I think they need to pull their finger out or will permanently get left behind like we seeing there. where button concerned.... happy for him. - happy that mcheaters far back as well.

Yeah, it's a shame Honda's big cheeses got in the way when Sir Frank tried to sign Davidson a few years ago... it's been too long since Williams last had a British driver.
Luckily Nakajima is on the clean side of the track and the FW31 is quick off the line so he might be able to jump a few cars off the line.

I wanna know what the hell shumi doing there. he claims ross helped him get to the top....however he hasnt leant any bloody thing. It means there nobody in that camp at the moment to work on strategy or race planning.

Another decent performance from Brawn. No doubt Barrichello would have been faster had he not made a slight mistake on his hot lap and carrying less fuel due to his grid penalty. Unless the weather throws a spanner in the works for them, you've got to expect Button to win.

Red Bull looked solid this weekend. It's a pity about Vettel's (unfair) penalty, for the whole of the team would have been on for a good weekend. Webber is still on for some solid points - until more bad strikes him.

Ferrari's completely underestimated the opposition and how quickly the times came down, although it was not unreasonable to think that given what we'd seen over the weekend. They aren't putting themselves in a very good position. The car seems fast, but it not quite fast enough, so they need to be picking up points whenever they can; by the time they pick up the pace, they could be more or less out of things.

McLaren are more or less where you would expect them to be. Still, it's not the end of the world. If it rains or something down those lines, some good points are on the cards (until the FIA take them away again in the not too distant future).

I've been wondering the same (not schumi, but in general the lack of strategy at Ferraru), is there anybody with brains thinking about the strategy? Already last season it seemed they had plans for the weekend but where not able to adapt them based on changing situations. Earlier they used to have the best race strategies in the racing world, helping them to score points even if they didn't have the best car.

Using computer simulation doesn't help you much if all the teams have the same simulation tools. Sometimes you follow a race and really think that any monkey good develop a better racing strategy.

I think Ferrari are probably hoping that Schumi gets fed up with retirement and decides to give in to temptation and jump straight into Raikkonen's car and make a comeback.

Edit: It's funny. The two big-spending Japanese teams of last year, who were slated so much and branded a waste of space, happen to be the fastest two teams of the year so far.
