Could people stop the fighting? On the rare occasions I create a thread, I do it for discussion, not for people to throw insults at each other. It's frustrating.

In another thread I didn't reply to a grossly homophobic statement from a certain well known person, but when this nasty stuff comes out and isn't moderated away, I'm not sure it is the right thing to do to just let it pass.

who is this evil person ill talk to the admin and get them booted!!!

- are Mclaren facing a Court Hearing in Paris?

Probably.
- if found guilty during this, what is their punishment?

Well, it doesn't seem like it's going to be too lenient, that's for sure. Even with Ron Dennis moving aside, McLaren are still being taken for a ride.

But Lewis didn't need to mislead the stewards, what was he thinking of

That's what I was asking myself. How much is one point worth?

It was more than just one point: a podium was on offer.

Yes, but only third place and the difference between third and fourth place was not worth the risk taken. Five points is better than the zero that they now have. The whole situation would've been simpler if the admission was made - both drivers would have finished in the points.

This is what I mean. For some reason bud is allowed to post racism, bud is allowed to post grossly homophobic statements, bud is allowed to drag huge numbers of threads into the gutter, but he's still here and posting. Why?

oh piss off would you! i was NOT racist previously in this thread! you brought up the R word in some PC bullpoo to spite me and create this hoo har! you and Tony are the ones who brought it down from there on in.

answer me this is calling a black person black racist!????????????????????????????????????????????

answer that :irked:

I would've thought something like a suspended one race ban would be more appropriate to the offence, seeing as this isn't (in a way) about something that happened in the race, it's about driver conduct. Still, omitting certain facts to aid your situation is pretty poor form. It's just sad to see a great race and great drives from both Hamilton and Trulli completely overshadowed! :(

thats pretty handy info its cool hearing the driver radio getting behind the scenes as such.

but all that is apparent is neither Jarno or Lewis knew who should have been 3rd as once Lewis let him retake 3rd Jarno tried to let Lewis go ahead again. why is it so hard for the drivers and teams to understand the rules and how the race control will rule on it? why arent the rules black and white?

its obvious Lewis felt he deserved 3rd as Trulli went off track so he obviously lied to the stewards to get what he felt was rightfully his. but in doing so Trulli didnt deserve to be punished.

All in all i hope it doesnt go any further i just want to watch racing not worry about if my team will be allowed to race..... again

I've listened to YouTube audio of Trulli/Toyota, transcript would be better. Why doesn't FIA release transcript of stewards meeting with Lewis and Trulli. We don't know the questions asked and how they were phrased. The steward meetings have become legal hearings after excitement and uncertainly of a controversial race finish. FOTA needs to take a stand on this abuse of power by stewards, and have their own legal advocate at any meeting. Race control can't make a timely decision before end of race, why rush a meeting afterwards. I think we all know the answer to that. It sucks doesn't it. :bs:

Exactly. It's a pity.
In fact, if he had told the stewards exactly as what had happened, they might even grant him a third with Trulli fourth, if they deemed the first overtake to be fine seeing as Trulli went off track.
