hmmm yes, CAMS is the Australian governing body but it is a subsidiary of the FIA

Yes, but then Ferrari got that $80 million thing, and a few other got some cash too.

That put a stop to that one, and tbh i am glad it did, it would have killed F1 and it would have fizzled out. Look at A1 for an example, it was supposed to be everything F1 isnt, set cars, budgets etc etc, and you ended up with 2 cars\drivers owning the entire season, people just switched off.

WRC used to be good, but now its 2 manufacturers and Seb Loeb, and thats your lot really. It needs to die in its current form and get a fresh new layout, hopwefully this will happen

The WRC is an FIA series, the ERC is an FIA series & the IRC uses FIA equipement.

Which rules them out.

Might have to be some US series at this rate - but even they are run by organisations with links to the FIA.

I suppose there's always offshore power boating.

only one place that you're gonna find drivers of the quality of Hamilton, Raikkonen, Alonso, Vettel etc. I'm sticking with F1. Its irritating all these disqualifications and FIA rulings and so on but I find it all works out about right by the end of the season
