Sky news has just said it well get worst for Hamilton as it well go to the world motor sport council

Well he did lie and that is a major offence. People used to get executed for lying in court and even now still face jail terms for such offences. Lewis Hamilton shouldn't of lied period.

and Michael Schumacher didnt lie in Monaco 06????????? the sad part is you anti Hamiltons act like in all of history he is the first racing driver to be ruthless and also would have us beleive that every other racer in history was a saint!

wake up ffs :wavey:

Schumi was punished for cheating in that qualifying session. He got demoted from pole position to last on the grid. And had it been during the race he would of been disqualified. Schumi or not he is no different to anyone else.

You wake up ffs. Hamilton went sofar as to even make up a story for the stewards about being concentrated on his LCD and that Trulli overtook him out of the blue. How can you justify that? How can you blame anyone else except Hamilton for this?

Dam...... Hamilton and Mclaren are there own worst enemies!! Well the good news is Toyota get there points back and are on there way to beating Ferrari this year!! :jump:
#100644
In the case of the Schumacher incident - even though it was cheating - he could not be punished with lying because Ferrari and himself kept their stories straight when it came to printed media!
This is not the case with Hamilton today it seems.
Furthermore access to the pit radio wasn't available then. The stewards made the decision that day on their what evidence they had - namely visual.
Sadly with Australia we've had no real footage of anything. :(

no doubt McLaren will be... its the FIA here afterall! and no doubt they along with Heikki will get 2-3 race ban.

Well, an absolutely disgusting decision once again from the FIA, but totally unsurprising as well. There are a number of issues surrounding this matter. First, it was a separate issue from the actual result of the race itself. That is to say Hamilton should have hung on to third and Trulli reinstated as fourth. If Hamilton did deliberately mislead the stewards, then another penalty should have been applied, such as ban on racing etc. Second, how come the stewards did not have access to the radio transmissions like they usually do when making decisions? Why did it take several days for somebody to think to use them? Third, the whole incident demonstrates non of the teams have a bloody clue about the rules: Trulli wasn't sure whether he could pass Hamilton, and his team were none the wiser; McLaren weren't sure whether they were to give the place back or not. And, as if that's not enough, when McLaren did try to get in contact with Race Control, the line was busy - not that Race Control would be much use, as shown by Spa Francorchamps-gate. The FIA just want to **** McLaren of everything positive that comes its way - and the team won't even be competing for the title this season.

pretty much summed up what i was saying there brother before AKR and Tony decided to throw attacks my way :whip:

You werent attacked by anyone you alien. you decided to go personal with AKR. and do me a favour ... dont send me PM asking me if I wanna get banned. come back when you sober and stick to your topic. you wanna be racist do it elsewhere !!!!

Makes total sense.

Well he was lucky not to have been. And Hamilton hasn't been further punished yet so until anything actually does eventuate why don't we all take a chill pill.

Almost there. By yielding (and then repeatedly not re-taking) the position, it was forfeited just as when Trulli went off-track. Therefore, the original result would have been the more suitable. Although, what penalty would you then have imposed on Lewis for misleading the stewards?

I agree with pretty much everything else in there.

Edit: didn't read the line you put in on alternative penalty. Sorry

Cripes when i left this thread it was at page 3, and all was well, only bud and AKR bickering, but that's normal!

Cool down all. mmmkay :cloud9:

I am a BAR\Honda\Brawn fan, have been since the start, and before BAR i usually preffered a Jordan, but i was more of a Mclaren man than Ferari, mainly due to the long history of Ferrari always being the favoured son in most motorsport (mainly because they are very good, but in more recent years that quality has been tarnished by accusations of basically gettuing away with things that others wouldn't have etc.

I am in no way talking about spygate here, in my view they were both as bad as each other, and Mclaren were stupid enough to use that information, no matter who knew about it.

However in this instance, Mclaren gave a story to the FIA about what happened, and gave a story to Hamilton about what happened, as a result when Hamilton spoke to the press the FIA went 'hang on!' and looked at their facts, it turned out, they had been given 2 version of a story.

As a result, Mclaren look like liars (because they did tbf), as a result, the team takes the hit, Hamilton and Kovi get stripped of anything, and may get a bollocking next week aswell!

Its a shame for the sport, but as long as we have a good race on Sunday, i don't care, as long as the smaller teams (Brawn, Toyota, williams) come back and we have a proper multi manufacturer championship battle, i am happy, cripes even if Massa wins i will be happy, as i like Massa, even though i am not a Ferrari fan.

Now back to yur drinks, and settle down,

Bud\ AKR.......carry on. :P
