Hey!
I'm Nicolas, I'm french, and I'm here because I'm seeking a formula one forum for a long time, and I'd like to improve my english, so I visited some f1 forums, and this one seems to be the best! ^^
I'm fond of F1 since I'm a kid, my furthest memory about F1 is the 97' season.
I started to support Hakkinen in 98 and 99, to finally adore Schumi, and what a great period to see his 5 world titles with Ferrari! I just waited one thing, that the young Raikkonen from Sauber comes to Ferrari, and again the red miracle happened!
Now, I'm still crazy about Raikkonen (Ice reference) but it's often difficult with all bad stuff media says about him...
Otherwise, I love Nico Rosberg since his beginning in F1, and I hope he could fight for the win as soon as possible!
Button was also a talented driver I supported, when he drived for BMW, but he wasn't lucky, and now, especially with the Brawn dream story, I wish him the best! BGP01 is so good-looking in white and yellow-fluo!!! And Honda spirit is still behind this team!
And what is a driver without a track? My favourite is Spa-Francorchamps! It's the nearest F1 track from my home, and needless to say how it's a brilliant circuit! I also loved A1 ring in Austria, J. Villeneuve in Montreal, it's too bad that they disappeard from the current F1 calendar T T
About the new generation, I like circuits like Istanbul, Bahrein, but I think they're not as good as classic tracks are/were (Melbourne, San Marino, old Hockenheim, Catalunya, Silverstone...)
Here about my passion about F1, hope to share it with you all!
PS : Considering I try to improve my english, don't hesitate to tell me if I make language mistakes, or if I'm ununderstandable, it would help me a lot!
