In my view: - Yes. For sure.

Almost all drivers on the grid have chance.

Brawn Gp - I don't need to waste time talking about their capacities.
Williams - made the fastest laps of the weekend - aside of qualify
Toyota - If it weren't the punishiments they got in the weekend (in the qualify and in the race) they could have got the race - Really underestimated team.
Bmw and Red Bull Racing - If it weren't the crash between Kubica and Vettel, both teams would get the podium.
Ferrari - well...Ferrari is Ferrari.
Mclaren - They can appear suddenly...so it's another team in the game, for sure.
Renault - They seem to have problems too, but they have the best driver on the grid and Renault usually improves along the year....even a bit.

Another point...the best drivers - kubica and alonso (in my view) - aren't running for the strongest teams..they both can bring some "problems" either.

Yeah...just one race, maybe it's a bit early to say anything about the whole season...

But I think that after what we saw this weekend it's already possible to make some prognostics.

its a good start to the season so far and its a season that anyone can win. The first team that can prove they are not only reliable but CONSISTENT will be champion at the end of the season. The only team that has proved to be consistent is BMW, unfortunetly consistent at being 3rd  . They most pick up the pace because I doubt if Brawn or Red Bull can be consistent all year.

I think you missed my point which was in regards to this season being the most competitive 'of all times'. I can tell you about many many more seasons that were more competitive than any one we have seen over the past 10+yrs, even the past 25yrs.

i wouldnt call a season the most competitive when you have one team so far ahead of the next. its like saying 2004 was the most competitive of all time.

the season is still young and many top teams like Ferrari McLaren and Renault still need to come to terms with the new regs. maybe 2010 for them though.

If this had been a had been a season with brawn at the back of the grid or just nowhere to be seen, then yes. But Brawn is all set to romp off with the title unless the other teams can overhaul them, and I mean overhaul.

Brawn are going to win the next few races and they are going to build up an advantage. So if any other teams want to challenge they're going to have the advantage to overhaul and they'll damn quick car to do it in.
