What's good for the fans is good for the fans - according to Bernie.
However as everyone has said, i'd much rather just get up for the race!
It would sort the real fans out

Stupid timing. I had to stay up until 2am and the race ended at like 4am... plus i was dead tired from the day before. Never again! the hell w/ Bernie's times.
Next one i'll watch it in the morning and avoid the news.

True F1 fans don't care about what time the GP is on they just care about it being a good race or not! By making the race so late it might get red flagged disappointing the fans.

As for the drivers complaining about twilight races, deal with it. Endurance racers do it all the time.

I dont mind getting up at 3am to watch a gp. Are the viewers really going to jump up that much from 3am to 6am on a Sunday? The late races are pointless, visibility even for the fans starts to become a problem.
