Yes. I would of thought people like tiger woods or Micheal Jordan, people like that would be high on the marketable list. Even David Beckham etc

I suppose what I mean is people that are famous for people who do not follow that sport.

Another thing to take into consideration is that it may also be based
on Mercedes being dominant in F1, over the next 4 years.

All I am saying is that it can't hurt Hamilton's marketability to be in a winning car!
Or... do you think his marketability would be this high if he'd stayed at McLaren?

Sagi, my godfather always called me "The Wise One" because of the meaningful and stirring things I said that always caused people to listen (Lewis being no exception)…but then again, it could have been the collie weed talking (he smoked a lot)…emm, for medicinal purposes of course.

As for our Lewis and how qualifying turned out in Monaco, I liken it to what happens when you antagonize and corner a cobra snake, it may not end well for you. In the post quail interview, he was coiled. Wait for the strike!

He just may. And this really goes back to comments I made a few weeks ago about Lewis being too nice and cozy with Nico. I feel he, Lewis, left himself open to be taken advantage of and sure enough, here we are. The downside is, he's kicking himself for leaving that door open. The upside is, the picture is very clear to him now and he has all the tools to do something about it. I feel he is going to make a number of non-verbal statements over the coming 5 to 6 races. To your point, Nico will ultimately regret The Monaco Move.

Hamilton refused to answer directly when asked if he felt Rosberg had deliberately gone off to prompt a yellow flag when they were fighting for Monaco Grand Prix pole position - a result that Rosberg secured following his Mirabeau incident.

But in an interview with BBC Radio 5 Live, Hamilton did admit: "I should have known that was going to happen" and replied "potentially" when asked if Rosberg had tried to spoil his pole shot.

Subsequently asked if he needed to sort out the issue with Rosberg, Hamilton compared their situation to Senna and Prost's explosive rivalry when McLaren team-mates.

"I don't know if Senna and Prost talked about it but I quite liked the way Senna dealt with that so I'll take a page out of his book," Hamilton replied.

Senna and Prost's relationship deteriorated after a dispute over a pre-race agreement at the 1989 San Marino Grand Prix.

The dispute rapidly escalated, with the pair colliding at Suzuka in both 1989 and 1990 when disputing world championships.

Prost had left for Ferrari by the time of the second clash, which Senna subsequently admitted had been deliberate.

Asked if felt Rosberg should apologise for the Monaco incident, Hamilton added: "Why does he have to apologise? He's on pole position."

Oh boy!!! Here we go!

So, if Lewis' response hinted at deliberately taking Nico out, great, but he will most likely incur a 5 or 10 place grid penalty for Canada…not so great. Lewis' best and most honorable thing to do here is either 1. rely on a (deserved) penalty handed down to Nico, moving Lewis up to P1 or 2. assuming no penalty, either beat Nico to turn one or at least get up alongside and force Nico to either back out or take Lewis out. Monaco will be a wash…both drivers maintaining their positions in the Championship and we're back to traditional race circuits where Lewis can do what Lewis does.
