^^That makes BMW's progress sound a hell of a lot more impressive doesn't it. They did make it out of the mid-feild and snatched a win. But this year, where has it all gone for BMW. They pulled out of the development race in 2008 very early, and still haven't made an impact.

Renault's progress throughout 2008 impressed me the most, 2 wins was more than I had ever imagined and Renault's budget is one of the smallest.

I would say lucky wins, they never outpaced McLaren or Ferrari. But your right they did make alot of progress and leap frog BMW into the best of the rest slot.

I disagree. In Singapore, Alonso was quicker than the Ferrari and McLaren cars - had he not been stuck in Q2 thanks to that car issue, he probably would've taken pole. In Japan, he was fast and he played the race intelligently. Whilst there was a luck factor involved at Fuji, it was no more so than Hamilton's luck at Monaco.

youre basing on what ifs so sorry youre wrong.

There was the big old Alonso factor going on there though. He was a beast last season!

:rofl::thumbup:

His worst was Monaco; but even the drive that ended in the mistake in Canada was great stuff... :thumbup:

Wrong about what? the wins being lucky or Renault having the pace?

don't really don't think Button has any critics right now.

I don't like his team's yellow/neon colours! :banghead::D

Both Ferrari and McLaren will be running KERS this weekend. Renault and BMW will not.

Personally I thought KERS was next to useless around Monaco. But I suppose if the Ferrari was designed around KERS, and KERS is key weight balance component, then it makes sense.

KERS might make a difference when passing on pit straight into turn one! probably the only place to make a pass stick so it could be useful in that instance! rest of the circuit they probably wont use it at all!

Tunnel would also work as a boost to catch up?

easy to figure out, anything he said IF about :wink:

I read the post twice... there are no if's :)

You know what? I wouldn't be so upset if Ferrari did get a win this weekend. In fact after Red Bull, I want a ferrari to win, because it would be a sweet In-Your-Face to Max Mosely. :D

Christian Horner has said that Monaco should be 'Brawn territory'. He says tracks with a high speed corner suit Red Bull better...
:confused: is he playing games?? because from what i have seen so far its not really like that.

As of KERS, who knows, maybe KERS will be the deciding factor at Monaco... perhaps teams with it will be the only ones able to make a pass.
