The 2008 Williams F1 team car made it s track debut at Jerez today. Unfortunately, the team were only able to put a single lap of the track in due to severe fog. Test driver Nico Hulkenberg was at the wheel of the FW30, which won t have an official launch this year. Williams will continue to test the new FW30 as soon as the fog clears and the circuit is reopened.
Renault were also looking to try out their new Formula One car, the R28, today however the team have been unable to put in even a single lap before the track was shut.
