Webber helps friend in cycling crash

Mark Webber had a dramatic day on Tuesday after helping a friend who was hit by car. The F1 driver was cycling with his friends Lance Armstrong and AMD marketing boss Denton, when Denton was hit by a car head-on.

Webber explained that they called for both an ambulance, and for help from their F1 team in Monaco, whilst trying to stem the flow of blood from Denton s arm.

Denton was taken to a Monaco hospital where his arm and leg required 90 stitches and he remained in hospital overnight.
