Mark Webber has been handed a post-race penalty meaning the Australian driver loses the one point he won at the Singapore Grand Prix.
Webber was deemed to have gone off-track when overtaking the Sauber of Kamui Kobayashi. The stewards chose to award a drive-through penalty meaning 20 seconds was added to Webber’s full race time. This demoted him to 11th place, meaning Sauber’s Sergio Perez was elevated to the final points scoring position at the Singapore Grand Prix.
