Super Aguri’s future in jeopardy again

Super AguriThe next couple of days are set to be turbulent ones for the Super Aguri team with the news that the investment group buying the F1 team are reconsidering their options.

This week was meant to see the deal between the Magma Group who are working on behalf of Dubai International Capital and Super Aguri finalised. Honda had already given their seal of approval to the deal as they felt that it offered the team the best chance to grow into a full constructor, ready for the 2009 season.

However, according to Autosport, it appears that the Dubai investors are having a change of heart and are reconsidering the amount of money they want to sink into the beleaguered team. Current Super Aguri team principal Aguri Suzuki is said to be in talks with Honda s senior management in a bid to find a quick solution to the problem.

Whilst it is expected that Super Aguri will make it to the grid for next weekend s race in Barcelona, it is thought that they are still tight on funds and therefore will have few spare parts for the cars for the race weekend.
