The Renault F1 team has signed it s first sponsor since the race-fixing scandal earlier this season which saw main sponsor ING pull the plug on their sponsorship deal.
Renault have announced that Dutch watchmaker TW Steel will be their latest sponsor and the pair have signed a contract for three years. TW Steel will also be Renault s official timing partner at the final race of the season in Abu Dhabi. TW Steel s logo will appear on the Renault s nose cone, sidepods, and front wing flaps from Abu Dhabi onwards.
Renault managing director Jean-Francois Caubet commented, “The partnership brings great value for both the Renault F1 Team and TW Steel and confirms the team’s positive outlook for the years ahead.”
