There are rumours that Renault have a trick up their sleeves which they aren t prepared to reveal until the Formula 1 season begins an anonymous source told Dutch website f1today.nl that the team are planning to use a radical W-shaped rear wing.
The anonymous source said that the French F1 team had chosen not to run with the new wing during any of the test sessions as they didn t want any of the other teams to copy it. It is believed that the new W wing could help boost lap times by up to half a second per lap.
